BACKPACKING 101

This workshop is an introduction to exploring deep into the wilderness on your own two feet with everything you need on your back– and in your head. A skill building workshop will cover topics like gear and where to find it, what to eat and how to cook it, how to treat water, hygiene, first aid, and everyone’s favorite: wildlife encounters.

$15 suggested donation, with proceeds donated to No More Deaths, an organization dedicated to providing humanitarian aid for immigrants crossing the desert of Southern
